RainAttingStraubing solar project is a solar farm in Germany with a capacity of 20 MW, commissioned in 2023. It is operating and is owned by GSW Netz GmbH.
In 2024 it settled 12.8 GWh of electricity, a load factor of 7.3%. Part of that volume was sold outside EEG support, so it is partly merchant.
Its EEG support runs to the end of 2043, after which that output is sold at market prices.
This asset produced at 7.3% of nameplate in 2024 — the 17th percentile of German solar commissioned 2020 or later (1,271 assets with metered output).
